Waver

A frown is a smile that has had a bad day,
So tired and grumpy, a dismal display.
It lurks in the corners of wavering lips,
And then resolutely, downward it dips.
Your smile is held hostage, the ransom is high,
It just digs down deeper the more that you try,
But if it is ticklish, then find the right crook,
And you’ll see a grin or invite a left hook.

    1. Whoot! I like that. Whoot! Can a cat say whoot? Whoot whoot! πŸ˜€

  2. I was always told that a frown uses more muscles than a smile. I suspect that’s not true. On the off chance that is, however, I like to think that my face is getting a good work out.

    1. According to wiki, frowning muscles used = 11, smiling muscles used = 12. Now if you flip-flopped between them really quickly, that would be a great workout!

      1. I knew that whoever it was told me that was wrong. Apparently 97% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

        1. LOL. Are you sure it wasn’t 96%? I could’ve swore I saw 96% somewhere…

    1. Well that’s nice of you to say so! πŸ™‚
