You disappeared
Below this earth,
The precious girl
That I gave birth,
Into the yawning
Jaws of hell,
And there it is
That now you dwell.
The flowers die
Without you here
That sprung whenever
You were near,
So beautiful
You were to them,
Beneath the earth
To you they’d stem.
You danced with joy,
Steps full of grace,
A smile and laughter
On your face
That even Hell
So far below
Was thawed by such
A charming glow.
The darkness you
Now live within
Because of such
A selfish whim
Won’t claim your soul,
Although it sleeps,
Until you come,
The whole world weeps.
