Forgive

It hurts to live. I know it does,
But you are not alone because
The pain is real for everyone,
And this is true and not undone
Until we die, but while we live
The pain you feel, you must forgive.

And though it’s hard to let it go,
Let go you must, for this you know,
It sets you free, your shackled mind,
And maybe one day you will find,
Forgiving others starts within –
Forgive yourself and hope will win.
