This truly speaks to me.
This is a difficult piece for me to say I’m happy you could relate to, but I’m glad you could find some meaning in the words offered.
It spoke to me for reasons probably a bit different than why you wrote it. It spoke to me in a way freeing yourself, transformation, renewal, and those type of characteristics and feelings can change your life. The secret for me was removing the inner denial mask that I wore in order to truly work on me and my issues.
Renewal and transformation are at the essence of this poem, so I am glad you could relate in terms of the overarching message. It is not easy to strip oneself of denial, and I admire the strength and courage it took you to do so. I have no doubt that you have grown tremendously in wisdom and spirit.
