My first children’s book, “I Want an Ostrich,” is now available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Chapters.Indigo, and other online retailers. The illustrations for my next two children’s books, “A Little Nutty,”and “My Teacher Dad” have begun. You can see the status of my projects here.
I came very close to permanently deleting my blog back in 2013/14 due to various circumstances. However, instead of deleting it, at the last moment I made it private. My sincere apologies to those of you who were concerned and worried about me. I have returned, not as a jedi (doh!) but as a slightly older (hopefully wiser) version of myself. Thank you all so much for your patience and concern. My writing will always strive to be worthy of your reading.
Moving forward, I have started my journey on becoming a children’s author. My mission for children is to foster an immense love and joy of reading. I believe children who love to read will benefit tremendously through increased reading comprehension that will in turn facilitate learning in school. Children learn best when they are having fun; therefore, the goal is FUN. If you want your child to learn important lessons about life that you find difficult teaching on your own, my books probably won’t cut it. If you want your child to smile and laugh, then I have faith my books can and will do that.
I will be including a “Published Books” page for those who genuinely want to support me because you enjoy my work or those who are genuinely interested and/or bored. My first children’s book will be released in January 2019.
For those of you who have wandered here out of curiosity, welcome to my world of purring poetry. I hope you enjoy your stay. 🙂
