  1. Hi Cubby! Welcome back. You were missed. I always wondered whatever happened to you (when your blog suddenly went dark). LOL!! Congrats on your new beginning as a youth author.

    1. Thanks Kevin. I don’t know where it will take me, but like your blog post reminds us all, “Let Us Dare.” I will be hanging out at your blog from time to time if you don’t mind.

  2. Good luck on your first book! I’m glad you didn’t kill your blog. I look forward to seeing more.

    1. Aw, that’s really sweet of you. I look forward to seeing more of your work as well! 🙂

  3. I knew you were familiar, its good to see you again Sonya, best wishes for your writing, I hope to see your published work in time.

    1. Thanks Michael! I appreciate your support. 🙂

  4. A true Poet doesn’t just keep churning stuff out like some sort of robot, Poets are like their Mistress, the Moon, they have their ebbs & flows, their Seasons and Tides. They have dry times where no poems are writ, periods of hibernation and torpor, epochs of watching TV and eating biscuits, but it’s all just fuel for the Poems they are growing in the Silence & Darkness, like the Pearls produced in secret by Oysters beneath the Surface of the Sea.

    1. The eloquent profundity of your words is breathtaking. Thank you.

  5. Welcome back! And all the very best in your writing books… Thanks for stopping by and nice to have you visit! 😃

    1. I draw inspiration from fellow poets like you, so it is my pleasure to visit. Thank you for dropping by as well! 🙂

  7. I just became acquainted with your blog after you visited mine. I hope to pop in regularly. It took me a while to find this post so I could respond directly to you in some manner or another without taking away from your poetry.
Good luck in your new endeavor. And feel free to come by my little spot occasionally as well. If you send me a message there I can direct you to some of my other blogs or we can just talk shop.
    Dave

Best Oliana aka Cheryl-Lynn

    1. Hi Cheryl-Lynn!

I wasn’t sure if you would remember me or not, but seeing your name and profile pic just took me back 5 years. I am so sorry I made you worry about me. 😦

I am glad to see that you are still writing and seem to be thriving in the virtual world with two blogs. I remember you as such a sweet, compassionate soul, and I am so happy that you still remember me as well. Your energy is truly uplifting and heartwarming; it gladdens my heart to see you still spreading your warmth in the virtual world.

Thank you for reaching out to me. I can’t wait to read more of your writing as well. 🙂

      Warmest regards,
      Sonya (aka Cubby)

      1. Me tooooo!! I searched for you for a year and checked with a few other bloggers. But am so happy now!!! In fact it taught me something…what IF something happens to me and Traces ofthe soul is not known to people I know because I still work in a counselling centre well known nationally. So I had given my username and password to another blogger just in case. My kids do not know about this blog. Only of Tournesol dans un Jardin, Stigmahurtseveryone.wordpress.com where I stand on my soapbox talking about lots of things mostly mental health. I have not written as much in the past few years. Email me anytime at tournesoldansunjardin@gmail.com xxx. You truly made my day today.

        1. And becoming reacquainted with your kind and generous spirit has made my day as well. You really make me smile. 🙂

          1. Love that you still have a cat photo…I have another cat…a new black kitten (1 yr old) to keep my Bette company. Well, she does not know she needs her company yet and certainly finds her annoying but it will come in time. Her name is Kali like the Hindu goddess and Kali also means blue black…if it would have been a male, I would have called him Krishna. 😉 This post will update you on my BFF’s (best feline friends) https://cheryllynnroberts.info/2018/10/20/whats-new-in-tournesols-jardin-daily-moments-troibun/
