A Christmas Feast

Carvings of warm tender joy
And basted with sweet laughter,
Stuffed with smiles for girls and boys
And happiness thereafter,
Pudding full of gratitude
And vegetables of peace,
A slice of hope –
The perfect food
For every Christmas feast.

  4. You captured the Christmas Spirit beautifully. I wants extra serves of vegetables for peace and that slice of hope will go down well.My wish for Christmas is that all your ingredients will be shown in abundance this holiday season and into the year ahead. Happy holidays.

    1. The ingredients are not expensive, but they are priceless. It would be nice if everyone could feast on these dishes every day. I will be wishing that your Christmas wish comes true.

  7. Lovely! the best part of Christmas is eating all together…we can feel the love and that is the spice that gives the food such flavour.

    1. Absolutely. The true joy of eating is the company you are eating with. πŸ™‚
