When I was your age, so long ago,
We walked without shoes, in rain and snow,
Uphill to school, both to and fro,
And worked in the fields, but did you know,
As early as five, we all could sew,
Nature was our reality show,
Time would stand still, so nice and slow…
Oh how I do miss so long ago.
