There are no stars that never shine;
They’re shining brightly just for you.
And even when they don’t align,
There are no stars that never shine.
Though heart and mind may feel resigned,
Deep in your soul you know it’s true,
There are no stars that never shine;
They’re shining brightly just for you.

If you have never tried writing a triolet, what are you waiting for? https://reowr.wordpress.com/2013/10/16/when-it-breaks-a-triolet-and-challenge/
Great to read you again…Amazing work as usual..
I am so happy you enjoy reading my work. Thank you so much for the lovely comment. 🙂
Nice. I’ve written triolets in the past, though not a ton. I like how they seem to have a built in cadence to them due to their structure.
I find the 8 syllable form flows a lot better for me than the 10. I would love to read your triolets. I tried to find them on your blog, but I could only find two lovely poems. I want more poetry. Please. I promise not to sit on your keyboard.
Hehehe. You would not believe how often my cat likes to sit on it, especially when I’m trying to work. I greatly appreciate not having to move another furball. 🙂 I actually only recently decided to start posting my poems, which is why you only found two. But I’ll be sure to share some triolets really soon.
I’ll be waiting! 🙂
Thanks for introducing me to this poetic form; it is new to me. I look forward to trying it. I love this poem that you wrote using this form.
I really hope you give the triolet a try! And I would love to read it when you do. 🙂
