When Angels Cry

When angels cry
The willows weep,
Into the earth
Their sorrows seep,
With every tear
The rivers grow
From little streams
That downward flow.
From lofty peaks
To valley floors,
From desert winds
To sandy shores,
In silent grief
They slowly rise
To soak the pain
From angel eyes.

Oh wow this is the total flipside of the one you just posted angel/demon yes but also light/dark and the tone and word choice too 🙂 Such talent.

Much obliged Melanie. You do things with your poetry forms that make my mind flipside up too…and then it flops back again. 🙂
