A different take on being altruistic, or an optimist. I wish I had eyes that could only see the beauty of the world. Too much pain and ugliness these days. Still, I get to read beautiful words, like yours, and dream……
Where there is the greatest suffering, I believe the seeds have been sown for tremendous beauty, for what could be more beautiful than the triumph of the spirit over immeasurable pain and sorrow?
Like the phoenix, perhaps. But the seeds don’t always take root.
Very true, and it is indeed tragic when seeds don’t root. But the potential is there in the human spirit.

I am not always optimistic. I can be quite pessimistic/realistic. However, being optimistic is better for motivational drive. 🙂
